The concept for the first Fred's beer was created by our then-apprentice brewer Madi Bruce in 2022. She devised a recipe for a light, easy-drinking beer and gathered the women of Bright Brewery to join her in the Brewhouse to brew it for Interntional Women's Day. The beer was named after our pioneering founder, the late Fiona 'Fred' Reddaway - a driving force behind the brewery. The project was a highlight of the year for many of us here at the Brewery, so we decided to make it an annual event. - Bright
