Inspired by our love for lager in Japan and our desire to drink something ultra refreshing, Kireaji is a crisp and light Yuzu Rice Lager. Kireaji translates to ‘sharpness’ or ‘feel of a cutting edge’. This has been used historically to describe knives and blades, but more recently to describe a beer or a drink that is sharp and refreshing, which is exactly what this is. Pouring ultra light due to the rice heavy malt bill. The aroma is full of fresh yuzu and yuzu peel. For those unfamiliar, yuzu tastes like a cross between a lemon and a mandarin, so expect citrus for days.
