Gewürztraminer grown in Wrattonbully (Limestone Coast) on the soils of loam over clays, gradational clay loams and shallow red loams over calcreted limestone. The grapes are left on their skins for 6 days creating an extremely floral wine with a heavy bouquet of potpourri. On the palate it is fresh lychees and cinnamon. A little lighter this year and lower alcohol brings a freshness to this vintage still powerful in its own way but less colour, depth and richness. A more balanced and refined direct style of Traminer. -Good Intentions
