Each year the wine expresses differently. Back to 100% Mount Gambier fruit. Always a late pick of Shiraz, 2023 vintage was colder and wetter so late in the season we saw some fuzzy botrytis meaning this year its carbonic maceration style had to be altered. Direct pressed juice was pored over whole bunches for 5 days to semi carbonic the fruit under juice. A lighter style, fresh, bright red fruit, still elements of confectionery but savouriness and energy. -Good Intentions
