2022 Single Vineyard Yarra Valley Chardonnay. Sea spray, beeswax, stone fruits and lemon rind. Lemon juice and grapefruit pith on the palate, with green apples, tonic water, sea salt and a mouthwatering acidity. Serve chilled on a cool, sun kissed evening, with J.J Cale’s Okie and some triple cream brie. Lean in, it feels nice. Grown by Con. Hand harvested at 12.4 Baume on 5th of March. Whole bunch pressed to old French oak barriques with full solids. Wild yeast fermentation. Some secondary, malolactic fermentation occurred naturally, but wasn’t monitored. 6 month maturation in old French oak barriques.- Musical Folk
